We recently put our home up for sale. We gave it to the Lord to let him do all the work. We told our realtor that God was going to bring the right people along to buy our home. Our realtor recommended that we cover the Bible verses on our steps and to paint this and that. We painted but we DID NOT cover up the life verses we have throughout our home. A family came through during an open house and wrote us a thank you note for allowing them to come in and share our home with them (they signed it "blessings".) This note was an affirmation that this was the family that God would have move into this house. They made us an offer and asked for $7,000.00 in closing costs and we accepted their offer. We also decided that part of our "downsizing" included selling one of our cars and found a car dealership that paid us $7000.00, the exact amount that we gave the other family towards buying our home.Isn't it awesome that we cannot outgive God, that he comes through each time, in His time, to meet all of our needs. Thank you Pastor Curt for using God's Word to teach us all valuable lessons in this all too important area in all of our lives. --Jim & Sheila M.Thanks for the words of insight that you brought to the congregation yesterday. Yesterday evening (Sunday) we sat down together to map a plan for our income. This is truly a paradigm shift for us but we really want to serve our Lord by managing His assets. --Nate & Stef V.
What an awesome message … David and I have been through some rough times because of his health, but God has always been faithful. And now because God is so faithful David and I are almost debt free and we don't buy anything unless we have the cash to pay for it. I'm anxious to hear the rest of the series. --Dave & Gala M.
